About

Why 28 days? 28 days is the average time it takes for a new skin cell to reach the skin’s surface and be visible. And, you can change a lot about your skin in 28 days, which is promising to those who want to improve skin tone and condition.

I come from a long line of people with sensitive skin types, as well as various conditions such as rosacea and eczema. To top it off, I was raised primarily in Wisconsin, which is known for it’s extreme weather that can wreck havoc on skin. My teen years were especially difficult, due to acne and sunburns (from my outdoor sports). After I accomplished my first college degree, I persuaded my parents to let me go to beauty school and become a licensed esthetician. That was over 20 years ago – another degree later, and having worked with numerous brands and spa settings, I’ve been asked by friends and family to share the insight and product knowledge I’ve accumulated to help create beautiful skin. Now, I am pursuing a master’s degree in Sustainability, to help us understand the beauty industry’s role in waste production and better health of the planet. I always recommend developing a good relationship with a dermatologist, especially for any advanced needs or questions. It’s about quality, not quantity, and being able to sift through the hype to get results. Enjoy!
