I’ve had the opportunity to try a lot of products in the past couple of weeks. Some are not new to the market, but I wanted to post a review since I believe a lot of you would love to give these a try too (if you haven’t already).  One of them is the LORAC TANtalizer Highlighter & Matte Bronzer Duo compact. This has been around for some time, but I love the results and versatility I get from it. Let me count the ways!

 

 
1) Contouring & Strobing: if you are a bit cautious or unsure about the whole contouring process, this is a perfect way to ease into it. The highlighter is a beautiful rose gold hue, and the bronzer is the perfect shade without an orange cast. Matte, in my opinion, is the way to go with bronzers – it looks much more natural. This duo is a prior cousin of LORAC’s PRO Contour palette, but without added shades that may be intimidating to use. Strobing, or highlighting, is easy with this as well, as the formula has just the right amount of shimmer with a shade that blends with most skin tones. 

2) Natural-looking: if you are looking for the no-makeup look, this compact is for you. The highlighter does not look fake, but rather gives a beautiful sheen to the skin. Use the bronzer to warm up cheeks, and also give natural depth in the crease on your eyelids. I love to use matte bronzer as an alternative to eyeshadow, with the highlighter just underneath the brow bone to define the eyes. 

3) Travel: the size of the compact is very generous, and there is also a travel-sized version available. When traveling, I try to take as little makeup as possible to reduce bulk, and love products that multi-task. Plus, this compact snaps firmly shut, unlike other cardboard palettes. A lot of women don’t realize how versatile bronzer and highlighter can be, but they truly can change your overall look with minimal effort. If you are busy, on the road a lot, or just want a no-fuss approach to your makeup, this may be a game changer for you.
